Advertising and affiliate disclosure
Effective October 31, 2026
Business101.fyi is free to read. It’s paid for by:
- Affiliate links. Some links to products and services (for example business bank accounts, bookkeeping software, payroll or formation services) are affiliate links. If you sign up through one, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. Guides with affiliate links say so near the top.
- Advertising. Ads may appear on pages, served by ad networks such as Google AdSense. Ads are visually separated from guides.
- Sponsorships. A company may sponsor a newsletter issue, a tool or a post. Sponsored content is always labeled Sponsored.
What money doesn’t change
- Partners don’t review, edit or approve guides before publication.
- Rankings and recommendations in comparison guides are based on our own criteria, which each comparison states. A product doesn’t rank higher because it pays more, or at all.
- We also cover products we earn nothing from when they’re the right answer.
Paid links are marked for search engines (rel="sponsored"), in line with FTC guidance on endorsements and Google’s link policies.
